LA SECA is hallowed ground in Rueda

LA SECA means "the dry" in Spanish - it is both the name of a village and  the appellation of Rueda in Castilla y Leon. This ancient and arid, stone strewn river bed is home to the best Verdejo based wines in Spain and produces one of the most expressive white wines on this Planet. [the galaxy is a big place] 

Vidal + Vidal is a joint project

Vidal is a family name with Catalán and possibly Sephardic roots shared by the producers and the importer of this wine, It means Life or to Live. We chose Cepas muy Viejas [very old vines] from a single vineyard to express this distant family connection.
