Miño River the natural border between Spain and Portugal

Condado de Tea, the inland sub-appellation of Rias Baixas, has vineyards near the banks of the Miño River.   Here Albariño grapes grow at  higher altitude with better ripening in soils with heavy limestone content and Atlantic fog that flows up the Miño River Valley.  The result is layered and more complex Albariño wines with white flowers, stone fruit and lemon live freshness
