The Vidal Family has worked with vines in La Seca for six generations. Uniquely tied to their land siblings Alicia and Vidal follow tradition to work in work in rhythm with nature, employing Horses, Falcons, Bats and Fig trees to manage their dry-farmed vineyards.
In the last decade, they have looked to the past to to find a path to the future. Rescuing lost varietals "Uvas Perdidas" and producing Oxidized wines in demi-johns, Ice wines in the vineyard, wines under a "veil of flor" in amphora etc. to which Alicia says "somos Locos" and we just say crazy amazing in love with their land and history.

La Seca, known as "la cuna del Verdejo" the cradle of Verdejo, has the largest concentration of 100+ year old Verdejo vines in Spain - and helped to repopulate vineyards in Rueda in the 80's.
" la Seca is to Verdejo what Sancerre is to Sauvignon blanc - simply the best terroir for their varietals. Producing wines with herbacious, citrus freshness, minerality and great aromatic expression"
